Validity of tax Compliance
Tax Compliance Certificates are only good for a full year.
Applying for a TCC is done using the iTax platform, and the certificate is emailed to the address provided.
With the new KRA M-Service App, you can now verify the validity of your Tax Compliance Certificate.
To apply for a Compliance Certificate, taxpayers need to meet certain requirements. These include:
submitting tax returns by the deadline for any relevant tax responsibilities.
tax payment made on the due day or earlier.
fulfillment of all unpaid tax obligations.
